Vpi turntable set-up
I am new to audiophile ways and have a possible dumb question. Do I place my albums directly on my VPI platter or is there a mat that needs to be in place first?

No mat, directly on platter. I am a VPI dealer.

Just make sure the platter is VERY clean before you put a record on it and clamp it down.
