VPI JMW-9 Signature Tonearm vs. Cartridge Weight

I read a review on the VPI Scoutmaster turntable which stated that the JMW-9 Standard tonearm is compatible with cartridges weighing between 9-12 grams.

Does this apply also to the JMW-9 Signature tonearm?

I'm asking because I'm looking at upgrading my cartridge to the new Lyra Delos MC cartridge (7.3 grams).

Positive Feedback Review (Issue 17):
"The arm's mass allows it to work optimally with cartridges weighing between 9 to 12 grams. Thus the 9-inch arm makes an excellent platform for the world's leading cartridges, such as the Lyras, Clearaudios, Benzs and Dynavectors."

I *think* the only difference between the 9 and 9 Signature is the Nordost wire so I would assume the cartridge weight specs would be the same. VPI sells a small headshell weight is the Delos is too light.
