Hi, I just got the new Classic and really, really like it a lot. I bought the Ortofon A90 cartridge along with it, and the combo is better than any other analog setup I have had.
VPI Classic or Notthingham Hyperspace?
I have been faced with quite a few upgrade questions recently, including my phono preamp and now the tt. My dealer has a demo Hyperspace, which he is willing to sell to me for $3000, including the 12" tonearm that comes with it. I've been eyeing the Classic for a while but a few days ago its price was increased to $2750, which now makes me wonder whether the Nottingham is a better deal.
