vintage tuner: McIntosh or Sansui?

Looking for an attractive, good sounding tuner in the <$600 range. I was thinking of Sansui TU-517 or TU-717 ...
vs. ... a McIntosh like a MR73 or MR77.

Is there a significant difference in performance?

Looks to be in great condition .. will see on delivery. I have a NAD-4100 tuner and a Marantz 2250B receiver. I'll compare against them. Rob

I have the Marantz 2250B receiver and its tuner is pretty good but, I think it's a little "fussy" dialing in reception. Rob
