Now that your a believer...try bdr,s.They are warmer and dont smear sound,imho.
Vibrapod Isolators and Cones
I don't know if anyone else has had a similar experience, but:
I ordered a set of Vibrapod Isolators and Cones two months ago when I was ordering some other things from the Cable Company. It took me a few weeks to even start playing with them. I ended up with the cones under my solid state power amps and the isolators under my tube preamp.
I was skeptical but am COMPLETELY blown away. The soundstage is deeper. Everything seems cleaner. My speakers (gallo ref 3.1s) just disappeared. On my best recordings I got this sometimes, but this is true across all good recordings.
I think the two sets might have set me back $30 in all. Worth a try without a doubt.
