400 hours is enough time for break in. What gear do you have it hooked to? Or do you mean you cooked it on a cable cooker? I had 2 4's on a dehumidifier for about 400 hours and then put them in the system. At 400 hours then moving them to the system Chris V recommended 20-40 hours to settle in. I've not heard mine bright.
