Van Alstine fet valve 400r/600r hybrid amps vs BHK 250/300 . Anyone Compared?

I know the price differences are huge. However, both make hybrid amps. Just curious between the two, what would one miss by going the cheaper route? What do each bring to the table? Plus, does one really need a hybrid if they have a tube pre. Just have some curiosities on the two brands. I'm also thinking benchmark AHb2 (I know its not a hybrid)

Any thoughts or comments would be welcome. I'm running ZU Omen defs with Rogue RP-5 tube pre (and STA200 Nuforce amp-class a/b)
