value question

rdr4b is missing the point. these are not original albums and artwork but rather rare recordings --- many of which do
not appear on any album. Real collectors would love to have many of the rare performances found among these records. all
are pressed on virgin vinyl and each box of 4 records comes with a 50 page booklet detailing the players and information about each song. it really IS a wonderful collection for true lovers of jazz, not matter what the price. Originally they sold for @ $12.50 per album, or $50 per box, $1,250 for the entire collection.....just a reference for anyone looking to buy or sell.

Even the average white bands? OK not really LOL

They have them in a bin at one of my local Thrift Stores - $1 each.

Quarter to a Buck for each box set depending on condition.

I like big band.

They are probably of value to someone. How much is anybody's guess. Put them up for auction here and you'll find out for sure.

The market sets the price for whatever you sell.
What are they worth to you? Do you like the music and will you ever listen to it?

You can list them in an auction with a reserve that makes you feel comfortable to let them go at that price or above.

Be very accurate and descriptive in your ad. You may only get one shot to find the right buyer for them. Some genres sell well and some don't. In this case I don't think that there is anything "special" about the Franklin Mint marketing a compilation of Big Band Hits. I do like this style myself and own quite a few titles.

You can list them with no reserve and sell to the highest bidder and be done with it.

You may also want to contact a locale vinyl dealer/collector/shop and see if they have an interest. Maybe you could trade for something you would listen to or some CD's.
