Any thoughts on the Parasound Zphono w/USB preamp or any other USB capable phono preamps? The added USB and extra inputs can come in handy. Am I giving up much in sound quality to other phono preamps in a similar sub $500 range or am I splitting hairs in this range? Also, I have a leftover Shunyata Venom USB in my stash but it would need a USB A female to USB B adapter. Will an adapter be a bad move over just getting another cable?
My other option is to punt on my USB idea and look at something like a Parks Budgie/Puffin or Lounge Audio LCR MKIII.
