Though I'm not using a Soundlink and I'm not sure about the 900mhz issue (straight from pc to amp), reducing the graphics acceleration made a huge difference in the sound on my system. Right click My Computer > properties > performance tab > graphics and reduce to no acceleration.
If the Soundlink is anything like my phone, it can be pretty picky about where it is sitting. Trying a little game of musical chairs might help...
