You may want to consider upgrading to a pair of B&W 683s. These are full 3-way floor standing speakers with greater bass extension as they have two bass drivers. It would be a sustantial upgrade for you. I had upgraded from a pair of 603-S3s and the difference is significant. There's a pair for sale right now on Audiogon for just a little over $1K and claiming to be new.
