It seems like in audio people think ONLY with a binary alternative and stick to their choices without investigating the facts UNDER these FALSE alternative: vaxx or not vaxx...

pcc67 people can believe whatever they want (what do I care?) but a lot of those people are basing their beliefs on questionable information from questionable sources. That doesnt seem like a good way to come to conclusions though. I only know one person who has contracted covid after their vaccination, and those symptoms were minor. So who's right? Well, that's why I rely on statistical data from reliable sources. Not aunt Jenny's post on Facebook. Nor what Aunt Jenny heard from her hairdresser about a nurse she knows. God bless aunt Jenny but she tends to beilieve questionable "facts." I'll still have her over for thanksgiving. She's a lot of fun to be with. And I'll be playing festive music on my new (to me) Dynaudio C1's that I'm still not convinced are keepers. Fantastic bass but I feel the mids are a bit veiled, but hey, that's just what I believe. Others who own them believe otherwise. But my opinion is based on the fact I owne these speakers, and listen to them in my room with my equipment.

The thinking process was almost stopped a long time ago about many subject matter: being a pandemy or what is "sound" and any other claimed setlled matters by/for any group of interest or lobbies in the large sense of the word, groups aligned with a ready made position of "interests"...

The vax is preventing MOST people who get it from becoming ill enough to require hospitalization. >99% of people hospitalized for COVID are not vaccinated. Yes, some people will get sick regardless. The idea also is when enough people get vaccinated the virus will be better controlled. Quick question, you don't trust the US government or you dont trust any government?

I work at a large academic medical center in the SE U.S. - and our current breakdown of unvaccinated to vaccinated COVID inpatients is approximately 80/20. However, of those presently in the ICU and on ventilators, almost 100% are unvaccinated. I have no dog in this fight - just stating our numbers. I wouldn't wish virus this on anyone - vaccinated OR unvaccinated.

A whole "pandemic" then vaccine program happening was more than hinted about a number of different times many years ago, many clues given, insiders talking. The premise had been in movies a couple of times etc. This situation we are in now didn't just naturally happen or occur. I truly care about everyone here, even any scammers that may be here as well. If someone look for truth the only way in a field where we are not expert, is looking for experts that are not PAID for...In my list i had 2 nobel winner prize and 2 inventors of the 2 main technology used in these pandemy among other experts i even have 2 world renowned vaccines experts who has worked at the highest level of this technology in corporations but dare to spell their truth at high cost for them...I forgot 2 of the most well known doctors in the world influential in the treatment of covid at their own risk at the cost of retributions from corporations...Why they would spell their truth for NO PERSONAL gain?

Look.....I knew Ron when he was here in AZ. I've got nothing against him or his stance on COVID-19. I got the jab as did my family back in April. I know they didn't but it's not up to me preach at others. Pre and post jab, I went to his place several times except of course when the kids weren't feeling well (as parents, we all had to deal with this). So not a big deal.
All the old Geezers in our Club got the jab before my family because they're old. So I was safe and masked up when necessary. I hate those f'in masks since day one and admittly don't wear one now unless my Wife makes me or if there's a sign posted.

BTW, just posting to relate may own "jab" experience. The first one, I felt a little fuzzy in my right arm and leg (the side I got my first shot in) right afterwards but it went away later on in the day. A few days later I got a LITTLE sick, it felt like a very mild cold and without the blocked / drippy nose or coughing. That lasted for about 1.5 days I think. The second shot I had done on my left arm I didn't notice any of the above symptoms. Both shot locations felt sore after a day. I imagine that's how it would feel like if someone knuckle-punched you in the arm and left a bruise; if you touched it / lay on it, etc, it would ache. That gradually went away over a several days. I got the Pfizer one. I'll probably go back for boosters to make sure my immunity is topped up.

I too wished him and his family a speedy recovery; I also assumed that no one in his house got vaccinated because he shared a lot of his family situation with us but stopped short of saying what their status was. I've yet to come across anyone who has been vaccinated to be reluctant to share their staus (unless it hurts them politically with their base), whereas the unvaxxed will weave and dodge the question or simply not volunteer the information. None of my business I understand, just my experience with people so far. The medical experts with lots of education, training and experience in their specialty are the ones you should get your advice from, because you can find any number of sources on the internet that will confirm or deny anything and everything.
