I’ve admired their amps for a while, but their distribution in the US seems very limited, which also raises the question of service/repair support if necessary. One of those brands (like Usher) that makes excellent products but just don’t get much attention here. Too bad.
Unison Research Simply Italy - amazing
I recently bought a Unison Research Simply Italy and I'm so impressed by it that I wanted to put a good word out there on A'gon. I'm using it to drive my Nola Boxers in a 15'x25' room and it sounds amazing! Really incredible. I was worried that it would be underpowered, but it will play VERY loud before starting to distort. And when it runs out of power, it just mutes the dynamics without breaking up. It sounds glorious...so natural and effortless with zero listening fatigue. I just finished listening to Neil Young's Silver and Gold and it gave me goosebumps with the realism of his vocals and guitar. I feel like I'm rediscovering my music collection. It's just a great piece of equipment!
