Been getting into SLaughter and the Dogs, CHelsea,999, the Slits, and various other lesser known 70s punk uk bands...any others that come to mind?

maybe post punk, but dig the au pairs, gang of four, the fall, 999, and lots more...
the vibrators "pure mania" might be the great lost punk album of the 70s; also check out the adverts "crossing the red sea" and stiff little fingers, who were very clash-like. i haven't heard the slits in probably 30 years--my recollection was they couldn't play their instruments, in a cool sort of way.
They may not have been under the radar - but Stiff Little Fingers (Ireland) is a must hear imho...
