I too have not heard one and am certainly not knocking it. But it is what it is - an extreme entry level, budget turntable. To compare it to a $1000 table is just silly. It comes with a $25 Audio Technica cartridge that has a conical stylus. Most $1000 packages will have a far more expensive elliptical and the cartridge is just as important as the table for overall sound quality.
