Twisting Anti-Cables

This is a simple question. I need a clarification.

I am going to twist some of Paul Speltz Anti-Cable wires together. The suggested twisting is "2-4 full twists per foot". My question is this: What constitutes a "full" twist?

Starting with 2 wires, one on the left and one on the right, is a full twist simply crossing one wire over the other so that the left wire is now on the right, or is a full twist crossing one wire over the other and then back again, so the left wire is back on the left?
