I use a pr of BAT 150se at 150w/channel and they drive the 802D without any problems. The ARC should be more than enough. I used to drive them w/ a pair of 100w/channel tube amp and that was not enough.
Tube amp suggestions for B&W 802D
Does anyone have personal experience with the use of a tube amp with the 802Ds?
I love the sound of tube amps but feel apprehensive about trying this. Would something like the ARC VTM200 monos do the job?
My room is 14 x 17 and I listen to mostly jazz and clasical. I do not listen to music loud, but do want the amp to have proper damping of the twin woofers in the 802D.
