Try this music...

At RMAF, I picked up a sampler of music on the Rhymoi label.  Rhymoi produces "The Music of China".  The sampler contains some remarkable music and the recordings are excellent.  The styles vary from classical to light jazz to some atmospheric tunes.  Some ensembles are familiar, like a female torch singer and a jazz quartet, while others are unusual, like a Chinese banjo and a viola (well, that's what it sounds like, anyway).  I ordered several discs after listening to the sampler.  They arrived yesterday.  So far, I've just listened to one, "Swan Geese" by the Inner Mongolia Youth Choir, and it is excellent as I hoped...amazing singing and a superb recording.  Definitely fresh and different from my usual catalog of music and well worth a listen.

You can find them at Rhymoi.com.  Inquire about the sampler, they included another copy in my order.  I'll bet you can get one from them.
