Please keep me posted on your impressions and thoughts comparing the MM2 series vs. GEN5. My closest source for TA is Nashville TN, then, North Carolina.
I have had the aural pleasure of auditioning TA MM2 Ultra all of the way up to OPUS level of cabling a few years back with Audio Advice Raleigh, NC. The good news is that you will hear improvements at every level. The larger jumps in performance occurs when one can leap over the next model (ex. Ultra to Reference XL or Reference to OPUS).
To date- I have not had an opportunity to demo the GEN5 offerings, but would like one. Hope this has been helpful. Have fun and keep me posted on developments.
