Townshend Elite rock questions

I am about to take delivery of a Townshend Elite ROCK V1. I wanted to know what type of motor it has DC or AC?

Are there any other power supplies that can be used with it other then the Merlin?

Does the front end trough mean that one has to use a lower counterweight

Is it worth putting my transfiguration temper V on it?

Will my Moerch DP6 fit it, along with the damping trough?

I think that the Rock's standard armboard (Rega geometry?) will likely not be able to fit with Moerch without some adjustments. That said, I have a DP6 on my Rock 7 and love the combo.

Congrats on grabbing a Rock Elite!
