to do or not to do?
Back in 2004 I bought a pair of handmade 8ft silver cyro plated cables. The wires are covered with a braided jacket. I have enjoyed them all these years but, according to Mapleshade I should remove the jacket for better sound. Do I dare do this?

No, keep them as they are.
Use and enjoy!
don’t remove anything, or cut, remove anything.
Use them as they are!
happy music!

Leave them alone:-)The braiding serves the same purpose as the Mapleshade style of separating the wires - eliminating interference.

1. Are you sure the jacket is braided and not tweed?
Second, there is no 2.
