Yes.. I love my DAC1.. I used it with my Sony 7700 & there was a noticeable improvement.. Although the Benchmark is accurate, detailed, with great clarity.. I don't find it very musical.. It has been described as cold, analytical, boring, With a bit of grain in the highs.. What sound are you looking for?
To Dac or not to Dac?
Thinking of buying a benchmark dac and either using my marantz 8260 (I think the analog out will still output sacd to a different input on my pre)or my old sony 7000 dvd for a transport,not sure what setup is better?
