Tiny head speakers

Why isn't there a thread for headphones? As far as separation and detail are concerned, nothing beats a great set of ear goggles. I'm using the Grado 325i with an RA1 amp and the results are stellar. Anyone else into tiny little cans?

I agree that the best headphones give an audio experience that no loudspeaker can match.

But...They are not convenient/comfortable,
and...you can't impress your audiophile buddies.

I agree that headphones can be great -- truly involving, revealing, compelling musical. But music moves the body and bones. Loudspeakers can approximate that, but headphones cannot.

Compromises everywhere! What to do, what to do . . .
