Tidal Agoria vs The Keggs

A friend and I went to the CAF 2014. I toted my very precious 45 rpm, The Keggs. I asked Doug, if he had a turntable, he said no......It would have been quite a moment to hear this 45 rpm on this system. There was not
a system there that would have been worthy playing this 45 rpm other than the Tidals. On the way home, my friend asked me, would I trade this, the Keggs 45rpm, for the Agorias straight up. I thought for a moment, and said no. A $100,000.00 speaker vs a 45rpm.....Nope. It really had nothing to do with the speaker per se. It had to do with the aesthetic value of owning a piece of history, albeit, garage bands of the 60s history, but none the less a piece of my self identification. Would you have traded "you" as represented by a 45 rpm for a materialistic speaker? And if you asked me.....would I sell the Keggs 45 rpm for $100,000.00. No. For a million dollars? Again, No.

Good for you. However, I would have to witness this in the flesh to believe it.......

I agree with Shakey. It's easy to say what you would do hypothetically. If there was an actual offer, your decision might change.
No. Why would I? I have offers and I say no. And it is not that I am rich.....anything but....it is too important an artifact of history to sell.
As an aside, I have the complete V-Jay collection of the Beatles in absolute pristine condition. What I sell it.....Yes. I have the "Let it Bleed" album, never been played signed by Keith and YES I would sell it. The Keggs..... no.
