That TT is very good. It needs an overhaul - Mobil 1 in the bearing and a new belt. Then I would start with a Dynavector 10x4 mk2 as a cartridge. Sell the Grace on ebay to a collector.

want to upgrade my thorens tt and grace ruby, looking at the new rega p3 or 25 with grado or dynavector. would these be significant upgrades over my thorens and grace ? I just got an audible illusions 3a and want to upgrade my TT . I like the thorens combo, but wonder what I can do really improve the sound for $1k or less . anyone out there familar with my thorens grace combo ?? RR
