Thorens TD 160 broken motor.

I have a Thorens TD 160 MKI early version with no motor spindle protector post. The spindle and its metal post snapped off from the motor clean. Is this fixable, if it is, how? What's my alternative after market motors because I can't find due to its age. Anyone has a motor that would work laying around?. Thanks

If you like the table, order a Origin Live standard motor kit. It costs about 400.00 and is probably better than the original motor on the table. It uses electronic controls that regulate the speed with much greater precision than a 12 or 24 pole motor could ever do. Pretty easy to set up. I did this to my Roksan XerXes with great success.
