The SBT is indeed a step up from the duet. Having had the VDAC I can say it is excellent, however I have heard only good reviews of the bitfrost as well. I think you are on the right path here.

Right now I have a Squeezebox Duet> Monarchy DIP Classic> NOS Audio Mirror DAC. I'm thinking of buying a Squeezebox Touch and a new 192 DAC like a Schiit Bifrost, VDAC, or the like. My speakers are Vandy 2ce's and amp is Vecteur Club Six.
Would this be a decent upgrade in sound? Thanks!
