I heard the original Gibbon 8's at In Living Stereo in NYC a couple years back. Great sound for ordinary looking speakers. The new Super's DO look great. WIsh I could have heard them!

THE05: StTropez 1403 Congratulations to DeVore for producing such beautiful new loudspeakers. These were the Gibbon Super 8. The pictures don't do them justice. They were definitely eye candy, quite exquisite. The speakers produced a wide soundstage with incredible image density and very impressive bass.
I'm sure the exemplar Denon and the Shindo amps are important contributors to this nice sound.
