The New Cary SA 500.1 How Good?

Do you own or have you owned the new Cary SA 500.1 ss mono blocks? How good are they? Are they noticeably better than the old version 500MB?

I use a pair of VTL EL34 mono blocks for my Khorns. I use the older version of the Cary 500 on Magnepan 3.6's. What I want to know how does the old version of the Cary 500 compare to the SA 500.1...
