The Ecstasy of Gold

After I got Metallica�s S&M Album, they had Ennio Morricones song �The Ecstasy of Gold� Totally kicked butt!! But that got me started on Ennio�s western composures and now I am looking for the best quality recording of his music. It seems the Italian reproductions have been superior to the US releases.

Does anybody have any knowledge about this they could share?
