The cast of JassFM 91 / Toronto started a new gig!

Apparently there’s bee significant staff turnover at Jazz.FM since they were voted the best Jazz station on earth. The team, including Dani Ellwell has started their own online music casting:

I am a huge fanboy and previous donating member of the station, that is my only financial interest. :)

Are you in Toronto?  You are aware of allegations of workplace bullying and sexual harassment that led to an exodus of several staff?

Anyways I hope they do well with their podcasts but they are a different entity  now from Jazz FM.

I had no idea. One of the leaders of Jazz Cast alluded to the change in atmosphere, but no, nothing like this.

Anyways I hope they do well with their podcasts but they are a different entity  now from Jazz FM. 

That is kind of my point. :) Great people who LEFT Jazz FM have started their own gig now.

I used to listen to  Dani Ellwell on CFNY during the late 80's. The Spirit of Radio as they say.

Well I used to give them  some money every year.  Now I donate to Tidal. 
I’ll have to check out jazzcast.ca.

Danny Marks still does an excellent blues show on FM 91.1 saturday evenings after 8pm

I often wonder if RUSH's Spirit of Radio had anything to do with CFNY back in the day
