The best speaker you ever heard?

In my opinion, the speaker is by far the most important part of the audio system. After all, it is the only part you hear. OK, the other stuff really matters a lot, but without a great speaker... No go.

I am a bit 'speaker-obsessed' I guess, and now I am wondering: What are the best speakers you have ever heard, and what made them the best?

Unquestionablly,the Jadis Eurithmie / driven by their 300b amp.Would that I only had 80 grand,oh,-then another 80 grand for the rest of the system that was contributing

My answer this time;about 5 years later,would be for the best speakers I've owned.--You know,that which I can listen to every day, Wilson Sophia. These produce about twice as much music as the Merln MM's I just sold.---Yet on paper they both go down to the same 30-ish figure????
