TEAC UD-301

I have an opportunity to buy and or trade for a TEAC UD-301 DAC and was wondering if anyone could offer their opinions or share their experiences with this piece. I will be streaming Pandora, Spotify, etc. from my phone/PC to a Chromecast Audio into the UD-301 via optical on to my Yamaha A-S1000 integrated.

I'm streaming Spotify/iTunes to UD-301 to Sunfire Symphonic Reference Amp to B&W 804 Matrix. Love the sound.

Also have a spare UD 501 sitting around that I don't use because I prefer the use of a volume control knob thats on 301 but not 501.
