I used this combination for about three years.
I was very satisfied.
The VT-100 III is a wonderful tube amp and the LS-9 is very musical.
When you can, upgrade the LS-9 to a preamp that uses 6H30 supertube (LS-25 II or REF 2 MK-II).
Also, I'd switch to Harmonic Technology Pro-9 and Magic interconnect.
