Passive out would be the way to go. I am assumming you are using it for 2 channel only. If your sub has a cross-over, you would want to set it to filter out the higher frequencies that your main speakers can handle.
Subwoofer Hookup for Newbie
Hello, after doing a search I didn't quite find any threads for my particular setup, so here goes. My integrated amp has RCA jacks for passive out, active out, ext.preamp, and NO sub-out. What do you suggest for a simple direct hookup for a James powered subwoofer with RCA low imputs and outputs? By the way, my other components do not have volume control. Thanks.
