Subwoofer connection question

My subwoofer has a left and right RCA connection. I want to connect it to my amplifier. Does it matter what channel I connect to i.e. the the right or left speaker post?

This will have 2 RCA male connectors on one end and 1 RCA male connector on the other end - should cost about $3.00. I'll leave it to you to figure out how it should be connected from the amp to the subwoofer... -RW-
