Strange Soundstage Problem - It Is "Shifted' to the Right Only With Digital Source

Hoping for some help, because this one has me stumped. When I listen to my Bluesound Node, which streams the music files from my PC, the soundstage is shifed slightly to the right. In other words, sounds from the left are closer to the middle, center sounds are closer to the right speaker, and  sounds from the right are closer to my right side wall. Also, seemingly at random, when I play a phase check track the out of phase part is diffuse as it should be, but it mostly comes from the left side of my room. They happen whether I go through my DAC or connect the Bluesound directly to my preamp via its RCA outputs. These problems never happen when I listen to records, and nothing is different other than my source. I have ruled out many possible causes because this has happened with different: Amps, preamps, interconnects, speaker wire, digital sources (Bluesound, Squeezebox), and speakers. Thank you for your thoughts.

I had a look at the owners manual for your Streamer @alhidell. My first thoughts are, have you tried doing a factory reset? The steps are on page 4 for the Node 2 model. A bit of bitch as you lose your settings, but worth a try. If not, It would be either a compatability issue or fault with the product. In that case, I'd suggest either calling the store you bought it from, or reach out the manufacturer directly. Good luck with your troubleshooting!
