My great mentor Stewart Marcantoni introduced me to John Stewart back in the 90's. This quickly became standard demo fare. He's one of those guys been churning out quality tunes for decades, so that when I went on Discogs it was shocking how many albums he's recorded. Punch The Big Guy is chock full of monster tunes. Trancas is almost as good. Have both those on LP. Bullets in the Hour Glass only CD sad to say. Just those 3 for now. Wouldn't mind a few more. Just really good tunes, and with meaning and message too, more often than not. |
