Stereovox SEI-600s & 600ii character differences

I saw a post by Chris regarding the details of the differences in the new 600s & 600ii ICs but wondered if he or anyone else could describe the sonic diffences.

thanks, Dr Dave

Hi Doc,

SEI-600s distills the essence or core of the old SEI-600 into a single-jacket, stereo breakout cable useful for running within a rack. It's perfect for shorter runs and gives you an entry price into the Reference line.

SEI-600ii is a somewhat different design, using twin internal coaxes (discretely shielded), summed at the connector. Half the resistance and inductance of the 600s, the 600ii lends a quieter, more refined presentation - especially when you're making that long run out to the monoblocs.
