Stands for Sound Lab M-1PX speakers?

"How many Stillpoints and what locations have you found that work best Tom?"

My U-1PX's are on 4 Ultra 5's with threaded studs into where the spikes would normally be. With M-1PX's, I would do the same, but if you didn't want to spend as much, you could use Ultra SS instead, perhaps with the optional feet.
I would recommend using 4 under each speaker for stability, as well as the enhanced effect of 4 vs 3.

Star Sound Technologies has an unusual business set up.
They sell direct to keep cost margins down. So no big markups to slash.

Keith, Older sistrum platforms were good as well as the Apprentice. Apprentice XL's are bigger and better...
BUT the Rhythm Platforms are Magical. Amazing!
THE new larger floor discs make a big improvement Also.

Ddraudt, thanks for your input. I run the Audio Points on my racks. I had forgotten about the Star Sound platforms though. I will give them some consideration. I think a buddy of mine has several Star Sound platforms that he is not using. I'm not sure which models he has but I know that he would let me try them for sure. Thank you for your help.

Hi Keith, After decades if experimenting with all sorts of speaker stands, feet, points. I now use Star Sound Technologies platforms for my speakers and all other components. They are the only stuff I've used that made an astonishing improvement to my sound.
I used to use stillpoints but even 3 of the "sixes" were no comparison to Star sound $500 "Apprentice" platform in my system. (and in other system's I've heard.
I move up to Starsound's " Rhythm" platform and found it shockingly superior to even the apprentice. Unbelievable soundstage and amazing tonal quality and realism!
IMHO you should call Star Sound and find out more before you chose.

Why would you want stands? The best sonic improvement is to put them on Stillpoints. Pricy, but worth it.
