hello. i'd start here: http://www.computeraudiophile.com/faq. i'm not a mac person, but generally the biggest concern is making sure you start with lossless compression. apple does have their own flavor of it. also maybe the SB Touch documentation or website talks about using it with mac.
Squeezebox 2 plus mac...which format..
Please forgive me if this has been discussed. I recently brought a SB touch I have also brought a new external hard drive so I can store all my music. Considering I am a mac guy I was curious to know which is the best format to keep my music in? I keep hearing flac is king considering the SB touch doesn't need to decode. If this is the case, how do you get all the meta data on it and most importantly what is the best software to use on a mac to burn into flac?
