Splitting signal from a DAC

I am in the process of purchasing a headphone amp that will be placed in proximity to my main system. My question is, to avoid the purchase of a second dac, can I place a set of splitter connections to the RCA outs of my BelCanto dac2 to run to my odyssey preamp and to the bottlehead or similar headphone amp. Would the signal degrade. Or not make a difference. When either amp is in operation the other would not be on. As always I appreciate your thoughts. Thanks, Dave

Given the very low 20 ohm specified output impedance of the DAC2 that will most likely not be a problem. Especially if neither of the interconnects are unusually long, and your mention of proximity to the main system leads me to believe that you'll be ok in that respect as well.

Thanks to you both! Following up the ICs that I am currently using are 4 feet. Is that length too long and possibly create an issue? Again, thanks, Dave
