Spectron Musician III or new MuFi M8700

Has anyone heard the Musical Fidelity M8700 monos? I am thinking about the Spectron Musician IIIs with all upgrades, both because from member comments they sound great (I have a couple of friends who have them and like them) and for their efficiency, but am also interested in the MuFi M8700s as a traditional analogue design with gobbs of power.

Any views out there?
