Speakers for a Sonographe SA250

My brother Al gave me the Sonographe with a Creek. My old speakers bit the dust and I need new very small ones. I want to spend around $500-700. Also, any recommendations for a good audio store in Seattle where they will be truly helpful. Thanks.
