Just so long as they are both connected the same way, it simply doesn't matter. Music is A/C.
Swapping BOTH will produce an 'absolute' phase change which is beneficial on some music. Some amps/pres, have an absolute phase switch. My PSAudio is one, as was my now ancient NAD1700.
