Speaker-ish related question (Crates)

Howdy,

I am about to get a new set of speakers and unlike my current 803D3s, the new speakers come in a huge wood crate. I wanted to ask y'all what the hell do you do with the crate. Throw is away, store it, sell it?

I don't have space in my house for a big 'ol wood crate, a storage facility will charge me enough that in a few years I will probably come close to the price of the speakers (ok, that's an exaggeration) so I am thinking that my only option is to get rid of them... not wise in case I ever want to sell them.

So for those of you that have gone through this... what have you done? Thank you for your comments! :)

Completely disassembled mine lay flat and take up little attic space. But its really just plywood and maybe some fasteners. Since you can't store, take pictures and measurements, save as much of fasteners and padding as you can, and toss the rest. If you sell, odds are it'll be local anyway, and if you ever do need to ship it'll probably only be around $100 to build, your cheapest alternative to storage.
