Speaker covers

I have a multi-purpose room that also serves as my audio room.   It gets a lot of light and opening, closing numerous shades daily is not practical.   Speakers grill do not typically offer 100% UV protection.    I don’t want my speakers damaged over time given UV.   So I went to a craft and fabric store and picked up some thick, soft material.   Connecting with a lady who will sew some custom speaker covers that will cover the top and front of the speakers and attach using velcro tabs.   Has anyone else done something similar?

if they are wood, the sun can bleach parts, dry out veneers, why not cover the whole speaker?

Cabinets are painted charcoal black.   Good point though

Only UV-A gets through window glass and you can ilter that out using an easily applied plastic solar window film.  No need to shroud the speakers.
