Speaker cables for Martin Logan's

What cables are used most with M.L

After a lot of trials via the cable company I settled on Synergistic Research Core Level2. I am very satisfied. I would assume as you climb to thier more expensive models the experience would increase greatly. Joe at the cable mentioned that the SRs match well with ML and his advice to me was spot on.

Actually my wife suggests I spend more on Audio each year ... in her mind that increases her budget on jewelry! Ouch! :-)
Thanks for the compliment on the system.   Yeah when it comes to cables I do have limits - 14ft Pair of Oak $4700;  14ft pair of WEL $54,000 - Ouch.  I'd have to buy my wife a MB Convertible or a few furs, diamond necklaces etc. to say ok to 54K for speaker cables. Then again do any of us really tell our wife's what we spend on audio?  Now that is a topic for the "Forum"

Renaissance and GS150 .... Limits? Really? I think I like those limits! Great system BTW!!!
I did not compare the Redwood or WEL against the Oak. I moved up from the Rocket 88's and heard a major difference in sound quality.  The cost for higher level AQ cables, especially when using a 14ft pair, well........... some of us have limits.

I have compared the Oak vs the WEL, but not on ML (though I used to own Summits).  PM me and we can discuss.
Speaking of the Renaissance I use AQ Oak between my ML Renaissance and ARC GS150 with great success.
Did you listen to the Redwood or higher (any of the Silver cables really) and just like to Oak better? I've heard some people do think the Oak is the sweet spot in their speaker cable line ... just curious. Thanks!

"I would have to say that most people with a clue are using MIT Shotgun or newer cables from MIT."

I guess I must be part of the group without a clue since I'm not using these cables... shame on me.

Speaking of the Renaissance I use AQ Oak between my ML Renaissance and ARC GS150 with great success.

I'm using Audioquest Aspens with good results connecting my MC601s to Ethos. Looking at upgrading possibly to the Renaissance this spring and will re-evaluate cables if I make the change. Can't wait to audition.
I would have to say that most people with a clue are using MIT Shotgun or newer cables from MIT. These cables have network boxes on them so you can dial in the freq Low,Med,High settings. You can buy some awesome MIT cables on the used market too :-)
