You have heard both amps with your own speakers and you should trust only your own ears. You are paying good money for their pleasure not for those belonging to others.

Sonus Faber Amati Futura amp opinions...
I have a pair of Sonus Faber Amati Futura's on their way.
I have heard them with both the Electrocompaniet AW180 mono blocks and the Ayre MX-R mono blocks, and both were great! I can't afford to bring both in to my house and A/B them, so I am throwing it out to you guys.
Which amp for my Futura's? Electrocompaniet AW180 or Ayre MX-R mono blocks? Why? Why not?
I would welcome synergistic pre-amp suggestions as well, but only for the 2 amps I listed.
Please don't suggest other Amps or tell me to get different speakers!
