Sonic differences between SF GP Home & SF GP Domus

Hi,

I have auditioned SF Grand Piano Domus and liked it immensely. At the same time I am seeing some very good deals on SF GP Home whch is supposed to be the older version. Can anyone please helo me by describing the sonic differences between these two speakers ? Can I assume that they sound very similar and go with SF GP Home ? I like lush mid-range with sweet sounding vocals, instruments and Jazz.

Thanks

I replaced my Sonus Faber Grand Piano Speakers (original version) with the SF Grand Piano Domus Speakers. I am using the McIntosh MA6900 Integrated Amplifier and the McIntosh MCD205 CD Player. I immediately noticed a difference since the Domus Speakers are more dynamic and open. The imaging is excellent and I was surprised at the amount of bass. Once the system was broken in, my friends said they were surprised at how good the system sounded. These speakers require high power to sound good since my previous amp was the BOW Wazoo Integrated at 50wpc. In my opinion, the SF GP Home Speakers never sounded right and I suggest you purchase the SF GP Domus Speakers. While I understand the Domus are more expensive, I believe you will enjoy them more over time.
